Churches, companies, and bloggers have asked me several times if they should join social media or how they can improve how they are using it now. The first question before I ever give them an answer is, “Who is your audience?”
I ask this because most people do not have the time, resources, or desire to put the effort into more than one or two networks and so they need to be effective with their time.
From my perspective, their answer will be the first clue into which network we invest in. A general understanding is that churches should do Facebook, blogs on Google+, and Youth Workers should be on Twitter.
