I’ve always been suspect that smartphones get plenty of game time, considering gaming is the leading use of tablets.
Nintendo even claims that smartphones are destroying handheld gaming with their low priced titles.
After seeing the big money in these little games, I’m starting to think that smartphones aren’t destroying handheld gaming, but perpetuating the market.

This may sound a bit sour, but I think American culture is wholly given to entertainment and trivia.
This infographic represents a lot of time spent on inconsequential activity. I can get drawn into it as well. It seems to be an addiction for many; in fact, games are often advertised that way. “Addictive” is presented as a good thing.
An infographic comparing the amounts of time Christians spend on these games (and movies/videos), and time given to the Word, prayer, and doing good works would probably be sobering.
