Should We Buy a JooJoo?

Actually, let’s start with this question: Do you know what a  JooJoo even is?

If you happen to remember, this was once known as the glorious “CrunchPad” before the project got scrapped due to some insane legal issues.

Some thought it might be an iPad killer. Others, not so much.

But honestly I’m actually interested in purchasing one to test it out and see what it can do.

What are your thoughts?

It looks pretty. If the UI is intuitive at all, it’s golden.

The product itself looks cool, but after reading what is posted over at Techcrunch about it, it makes me nervous. Also, I couldn’t find anywhere if it had 3G capabilities. Think I will wait and see on this one!

If it had the price point that the CrunchPad was supposed to have, then maybe. $500 seems a bit steep. It does look cool, though. However, the fact that they only got 90 pre-orders (pretty sure I read that on Wikipedia) makes me wonder, in particular.

    2.5 pounds…ouch. I’d take a pass on this one.
