SEO is important.
Wait, scratch that, it’s huge.
But, what happens when it becomes more important than your writing?
When it becomes more important than the content you create and curate?
I read an article on DZINE PRESS titled: Tips to Get Better Feedback on Your Website
The keyword for the post was Feedback, I think.
Call me crazy.
The word was used over 60 times.
60.
Here’s one of the paragraphs:
Crazy or not, don’t be a SEO sell-out.
I make creative vs SEO choices each and every day on each and every blog post ,and it’s never easy. It can be a fine line and I think it’s a healthy tension, but in the end, I can tell you from experience: Content remains king.
Go create and curate awesome content and work on your strategies later; otherwise, you’ll sabotage your own efforts.

It’s a shame when you see articles like the one you mentioned that are on potentially useful topics get made almost unreadable as a result of keyword overloading.
I think some writers forget that the primary audience for writing is people, not google-bots. If the bots are their audience, they probably should become coders instead

LOL! That’s true.

I wonder how many times it would take for post to be ranked on wonder of the web before it was wonder-fully placed on top?
Eric Dye says
Yes?
