Facebook Hack: Select All Friends

One of the biggest problems that Facebook has not addressed for businesses on their Facebook Pages, is the ability to “Select All” of your friends.

When you want to invite all of your friends to Like the page, share a wall post, or ask friends to answer your Facebook Question, you need to select EVERY single person that you want to interact.

So if you have more than 200 friends, there needs to be an easier way to select everyone.

Here is step-by-step way to do this:

    1. This currently only works on Google Chrome, so ensure that you have it properly installed and opened to your Facebook Page
    2. Click the “Invite friends” or whatever it is you are wanting to share.
    3. Make sure to scroll to the bottom of your friends, as Facebook currently only displays a portion of your friends.
    4. Enter in the code below. Note that Google Chrome removes the “javascript:” text and you will have to type it back in to work.
javascript:elms=document.getElementsByName("checkableitems[]");for (i=0;i<elms.length;i++){if (elms[i].type="checkbox" )elms[i].click()};
  1. Depending on how many friends you have, this could take a few minutes to work.
  2. Click ‘Ok’ and you are finished.

Hopefully we will see a stronger support from Facebook for businesses and Facebook Pages sooner than later!

    Facebook doesn’t have this to avoid spam but it is still nice to have this! thanks!
