This week I wrote about experiencing grace in an unlikely place- a virtual choir! http://www.joannamuses.com/2013/07/finding-real-grace-in-virtual-choir.html

I spent some time working on an editorial calendar for my shows for the next month, so the rest of July, all of August, and the first week of September is good to go. Next up, an editorial calendar for blogging and guest blogging.
I crossed the 16,000 twitter follower mark and have around 50 newsletter subscribers yet to get to hit 1,000 of those.
I’m talking numbers quite a lot because I noticed the power of them for goal setting. (See this week’s Eternity Changers show for more of my thoughts http://trinitydigitalmedia.com/2013/07/eternity-changers-the-power-of-numerical-goals/ ).
So far this month, I’ve sold $125 in ads. It’s not retirement money (and beacon ads did take a cut), but it’s proof to me that this model is possible; I can continue to provide free training and get advertisers to pay to talk to the growing audience.
Very fun.

Cool! 😀

Long time reader, first time contributor so hopefully I don’t mess this up 🙂
I’m a regular contributor at destroythecyb.org doing music reviews and those contributions are sometimes the only reason I feel comfortable saying I am a writer. My latest was published on Monday: http://www.destroythecyb.org/let-me-in-welcome-home-9716.htm#more-9716
I also spent the week running media for my church’s first real VBS which was a whole different set of challenges.

Welcome, Matt!
(Nope. You didn’t mess it up. :P)

Matt and I have been friends for almost 25 years. He was my best man at my wedding (and I was his). Glad to see you join the fun Mattman.

I haven’t posted in a while, due to family and work life being really hectic right now. July is birthday month in our family, so things have been busier than usual.
Today (the 21st) is my youngest son’s first birthday. Yesterday was my birthday. Then we also have my mom-in-law’s birthday, my brother-in-law’s birthday, my sister-in-law’s birthday, my other sister-in-law’s birthday, and my eldest’s birthday too. Yeah.
Work has been a mad rush these last 2 weeks. The week before this past week we shipped 20 of our devices up to Kenya, and on Friday our Kenyan reseller started selling them. He sold 5 on Friday and 1 on Saturday. My Saturday was spent dealing with some of the teething issues (which included a phone call to Kenya). [0]
This week I also helped my wife level up to level 4 in Ingress. She started 2 weeks ago, and reached level 2 in one night, and level 3 another.

Well…its been awhile since I commented, but it has been a crazy few months. Here’s what I have been up to:
Blog Redesign and finished my photo book Cradle to the Grave.
Eric Dye says
Congrats on the book, Dave!!!
Also, the site looks really good and the Pressgram action is pretty sweet. 😀

One of our volunteers did all the recording and editing on his own for this “What is worship?” video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSfWpEhzkpM
It’s a great feeling to have trained someone to the point that they can take on a project and you feel confident in them to do a great job. It’s a huge stress relief to spread the work load to volunteers.

So true, so awesome. Great share, man. 🙂
