I think that I knew that Jewish people had the dough, but I did not know that Hindus had it as well here in the US. It’s all interesting, and at points sad as well in looking at some of the statistics. Good infographic.
I think i should’ve been jewish!
If these stats are entirely accurate, which I’m assuming they’re at least REAL close, then I’d have to say that I’m somewhat shocked at some of the numbers.
Can we use this as evidence that Hindus are behind the giant new world order conspiracies instead of the Jews?
I feel that would be appropriate…and the Jews have been through some things.
I hadn’t really thought about Hindus being big money-makers before, but now that I’ve seen the statistics, it doesn’t surprise me. I would imagine most Hindus are Indian, and Indians are pretty shrewd business people.
How bout this thought:
Prosperity Gospel?
If you look at this, you’d realize that the prosperity Gospel leads you to Hinduism or Judiasm.
Also, I’d have to assume that God is probably busiest (most evident) in the “historically black church” as they’re the least wealthy, and it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than…
I’m behind in my google reader so behind in comments on blogs.
I can’t help but wonder though why we seem to think that a lesser amount of money somehow equals holier. How do we reconcile that line of thinking with men in the Bible like Boaz who were wealthly, but apparently very Godly.
It may be easier for a camel to pass through a needle than a rich man to enter heaven. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
In other words, and in spite of popular opinion, evangelical Christians are actually less wealthy than their mainstream counterparts, and on par with the national average.
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (Mark 10:25).
