I had to sell my 1960’s vintage record player when we moved to Italy.
Fast forward to this past weekend and I came across some plastic 1980’s record players here in Italy as well as some vintage radios from the 1950’s. The radios were out of my price range and the plastic record players — complete with 8-track decks — were to busted-up to consider purchasing and rebuilding my record collection.
There’s something beautifully charming about retro technology. Relics of the past. Mile markers in our technological advancements.
