Now that stinto.net looks offline, their developers recommend the chat room app at http://gabbly.com/ and Meebo has fairly easy chat room setup, after you've got a meebo account http://www.meebo.com/rooms/foryoursite/

That is a great web app. It would be nice if they could be incorporated with one's own website domain name. Maybe that is the next evolution of programs like these, or maybe they are already here and I am just a little behind.
