Pinterest is the newest and most explosive growth of the big social networks out there. At one point, it was recorded that they had over 1000% increase in growth and more click through rates than three of the other social networks combined. It takes advantage of a different kind of medium, relying on photos instead of just text. Even from Twitter’s research, photos are more popular a medium for information than words, links, or videos, so they must be doing something right.
The question is:
Should your business or ministry be apart of it too?
The decision tree below easily helps you go through several questions on if Pinterest is a good fit for you. This is not a promotional for Pinterest as there are just as many decision branches going to “look at other social networks” as you should join.
How does your decision tree end? You joining or leaving Pinterest?

For me, with my book review blog, Pinterest always second or third. Facebook is usually first. And then stubleupon and Pinterest alternate 2nd and 3rd place for referals. But Pinterest always gets more time and more page views per visit than other social media.
Twitter, Google+ and others are way behind Pinterest.
Another thing I like, is that all I have to do is post. It isn’t a social media site that requires a lot of public interaction if you don’t want to give it.
