Sure looks like a Trash-80 (Tandy Radio Shack – TRS-80) to me. Acoustical coupler and about 16k of RAM. Data storage: a cassette tape recorder!

Parallel: more sophisticated technology, larger installed base, decreased cost, and user comfort are what turned the corner for online news… same with online "church." Range of choice in free content (lifechurch.tv and others) will help. User adoption of online "community" is at a tipping point (note sudden rise of Facebook adoption in recent months… by non-techies).

As lifechurch.tv and others are finding, online communities are starting to DRIVE face-to-face community. The new front door may be online.

That's hilarious … as a former media guy … and a current icampus guy. The "ludicrousness" of online church will seem almost the same in 20 years.
