Eye-Opening Stats About Online Sharing [Infographic]

These online sharing statistics really surprised me!

Learning what time most content is shared and the busiest day of the week most of us share web content is helpful to know, but that’s not what surprised me.

Despite all of the share buttons embedded around the web, most people prefer sharing content the old fashioned way.

They paste it.

This does not surprise me at all. I feel like clicking a facebook share button will automatically post something like “Patrick read this article on ChurchMag and thought you might like it.” If it doesn’t automatically post as me, it would probably make me Like some company, or have to install some app to allow me to share links. I know this probably doesn’t happen much, but I’d rather just share a URL. You can still see that the traffic came from facebook, so everyone wins.

… not to mention the random image it pulls, often times the image has nothing to do with the post!
