I have a crazy idea for you, have you thought about online marketing for your church?
This very idea for some pastors and ministry leaders is plain heresy. I have had numerous conversations with people of this mindset, they are negative and most will not move on their stance even when given a rational argument. Nearly all end with the other end yelling and arguing instead of dialoguing.
For those that may buy into this, my initial challenge to them is to create great content. Yet, the #1 thing I work with almost every church is what content they are going to post and how they are going to get those ideas into blog or social media posts.
As you will see below, this is not a church exclusive problem, but it is one we need to overcome.
These are certainly the top three stats from the infographic below:
- 58% of marketers said that their budget was going to increase, only 1% stated it was going to decrease.
- Four of the top five analytic stats tracked for content marketing is web traffic (56%), sales lead quality (50%, read # of people attend church or event), sales lead quantity (37%), inbound links (30%
- 69% of marketers report not having enough time to produce content which means content marketing goes from high quality original stuff to cheap quality, nearly sololy promotional or sponsored material that is written last minute.
When I say you need to create great content for your church marketing, what does that mean for you?
