North Point Online Rocks the iPhone

nponline_iphone

It’s hard to imagine getting more and more excited for the launch of North Point Online which is less than 2 days away.

The crack team has been literally working all hours to get things smoking-ready for all that want to participate, including those that have chosen the iPhone as their mobile weapon of choice.

So yes, we’re online and iphonized. Just check out the site via your iPhone to see the new page. If you’re hanging there when we launch it’ll auto-connect you to the stream. All you have to do at that point is sit back and relax.

Slick.

that is awesome. I was ready to sit in my office and go to church, but I have to now travel to Chicago and was pretty bummed that I wasn't going to be there Sunday, but now I will have something to do while I drive. Awesome

Doesn't that almost count as an entirely other experience from the browser? As in all separate code and what not?

No small feat for a launch! congrats.

Crazy. You guys using the same tech that LifeChurch.tv and New Hope are using?

Also, was the word choice of "Crack" team and "Smoking-ready" intentional? hah ;)

Awesome work you guys are doing. Does the same vendor do your web and iphone live streaming? Thanks.

no, we have 316 do our streaming and another business does our iphone.

we hope to bring both under the same roof someday.

Thanks for the info. Can you share the vendor that is doing the iPhone streaming? Or did you roll your own?

I saw a write up on setting up your own iphone broadcast using amazon web services. I feel better using a vendor though. I hope 316 adds the iphone streaming too.
