If that video is satire or tongue-in-cheek it’s good, if it’s supposed to get people into church who haven’t been, I’m cringing. Church is not about hip-hop sermons and iced latte’s. Church doesn’t need to be “cool”, and when we try to make it “cool”, it’s often not.
I actually like their G.O.S.P.E.L. video way more, I think that makes for a much better conversation starter.

Yes, I think was an “internal” promo.

our church participated in back to church sunday. it was awesome, we almost doubled in size. as for the video, i think its supposed to say “christians are normal humans and we can make fun of ourselves” not “church is cool”

Awesome! Double in size? That’s amazing. 🙂

I expect to see the biggest revival in the history of the world because of this awesome campaign.
…or maybe we just need to take a collective time out?
Eric Dye says
Maybe we could start by caring for the orphans and feeding the hungry?
