Foursquare Finds Top 10 Romantic Cities

What are the ten most (and least) romantic cities?

 Foursquare studied 1.5 billion check-ins and determined which cities were the most romantic, based on check-ins to places deemed “romantic” for couples, like French restaurants, wine bars, flower shops, and lingerie boutiques.

Here are the results:

10 Most Romantic Cities

  1. Lake Buena Vista, FL.
  2. Napa, CA.
  3. Venice, CA.
  4. Saint Louis, MO.
  5. New York, NY.
  6. San Francisco, CA.
  7. Reston, VA.
  8. Beverly Hills, CA.
  9. Myrtle Beach, SC.
  10. Key West, FL.

10 Least Romantic Cities

  1. Beaverton, OR.
  2. Bethlehem, PA.
  3. Lawrenceville, GA.
  4. Sterling Heights, MI.
  5. West Chester, PA.
  6. Normal, IL.
  7. Norwalk, CT.
  8. Tustin, CA.
  9. Duluth, MN.
  10. Waltham, MA.

    Myrtle Beach is romantic? I was born and still live in SC and I have never thought of Myrtle Beach as romantic.

    Maybe somewhere tropical, but not the 10000 degree sands of myrtle beach.
