Jonathan Ober says
Video games cause violence. I did an extensive study and paper and a speech on this in college. Through all that I found there was little evidence supporting this since there are so many outside factors that come in to this. While it could contribute, overall wouldn’t it mean there should be more violence in the world since there are millions of gamers? But it’s not true, only a small number of violent behaviors are actually caused by video games. Granted some people are more susceptible to being pressured or under the influence of games, but that is more on their mental state than the game itself. No one goes around punching brick walls in hopes to get coins, or jumps on turtles when they see them at the pet store.
