We’ve heard your Personal Web Goals for 2010… what about your ministry web technology goals?
Are you guys going to redesign? Are you going to rethink your strategy? Is this a year of hiring the right people? Are you going to have to “shake things up?”

I have redesigned my blog (for me that means a new theme, not a complete redesign.) I added affiliate links and advertising (for now unpaid). And I am working on keeping up my three post a week pace. My blog traffic tripled Nov to Dec. I am now getting about 1/3 of my traffic from search, so the consistency and number of posts seems to really be helping. My goal is to be making enough money by the end of 2010 to pay for hosting and the shipping costs for the books I give away.

I'd love to get my church into the social webs…we've got a podcast and a web site-that's about it. Lots of work to do. I'm thinking about getting started with a video podcast and streaming video on the web. Then I'll go to FB and Twitter and try to convince them to start a blog. Thoughts? Advice?
I'd start simple. Choose one, do it. make it awesome. then jump to the next one.
Oh yes! I start a my first pastorate on Jan 1 and their current website leaves much to be desired. Well it does utilize all the latest technology….of 1997. It won't take much to upgrade.
1997 was a good year.
I'd like to help at least 10 churches get up and running with new media including social media, video, blogs and more.
