definitely late in the day and into the evening. pretty much after everyone else has shut down for the day and quits thinking of other things to do that cause me to stop any creative momentum i have going at the moment, to then focus on the new 'top priority' project that overrides any other project regardless....?!

after 8pm tends to be when a lot gets done for me (after the kids go to bed). unless of course there are a ton of staffers on vacation, then it's beautiful around the office.

i agree, all the meetings, lunches, "hey my computer won't print"s, and "i know you are busy but"s do get in the way and make it nearly impossible to work during the day sometimes.

Most productive? Late Evening & Early Morning. Usually times when it's quiet and I'm alone.

I'm with Conrad -- the later, the better. Even working on tech things now for the church, I'm much better off if I can take a late night or two to get the project off the ground or through to completion.

But like Michael, said, it worked a lot better before I was married...

I'm like you JS.

Which causes me to think: maybe I just need to skip lunch.

When I was doing it full-time I could never seem to make normal business hours work, there were always meetings or lunch stuff or whatever going on so I found that my most productive working hours were usually from about 10pm - 2 or 3am. There's a lot less distractions then too. You really never have to worry about getting interrupted by phone calls or even emails really.

I miss those days. haha!

In the evening no doubt...When i was freelancing full time i would sleep in super late...do nothing for about 4 hours...then start working at like 4...break for dinner after a few hours...Then really be productive from about 6-12...

Of course this was before i married and that would never fly now...

I have to be in a software program for about an Hour before i really get into a productive mode...

Thats just me...Great question though...
