We take a look at gaming and if it is something that is appropriate for Christians both as a pastor and as an individual. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts as we only begin the conversation and know there is a lot more that can be said on the topic.
Do you have a problem with gaming as a Christian? Do you have a problem with using video games in your ministry?
Sound off in the comments with thoughts and why.

I love the idea of using video games in a ministry context, like what was mentioned in the video (host a server for your youth kids, certain rules, etc.). I’ve been a gamer most of my life, more recently into games like World of Warcraft and Rift, but just recently getting into Minecraft. I know it is advantageous for us to put ourselves out there where people can easily access us for questions and help, so I think “in game” is a great place to do ministry.
I know for a fact that a large portion of the guys in our youth group spend hours on Minecraft, so it would be amazing to interact with them on that platform as a way to continue building relationships with them. Those guys are some of the hardest to get talking about serious things, but it can be a lot easier to talk freely “in game” as opposed to real life.
