Instagram officially became the biggest social media platform behind Facebook and YouTube. If you are not on it for your church or not actively using it, you are leaving traffic/visitors/people off your platform. Normally, I don’t promote adding another social media to your list you have to post to, Instagram is different, get on it now.
Below are my three favorite tips for your Instagram account to consider how you use the platform.
- You cannot post to Instagram effectively like every other social media platform out there, but it’s worth the effort.
- Make sure your call to action is able to be flexible. Have a link they click in the profile bio, that way you can change it as needed.
- Text on images should be minimal. What posts well on desktops for Facebook is not guaranteed to work on Instagram with mobile. Think about the platform.
