Manage, Update & Backup Multiple WordPress Sites

In the process of nailing down a decent backup solution for multiple WordPress sites, I came across a new system that will be launching next month.

There are plenty of solid solutions in the marketplace, VaultPress being one; however, dropping $15 per site, per client, is not an option for me.

ManageWP is a very curious product, since backuping up your WordPress site is the least of what it does.

This thing is packed full of awesomeness.

ManageWP

ManageWP is an entire WordPress management system. If you are managing multiple WordPress installs at once, for organizations, businesses or Churches, you should seriously consider ManageWP.

ManageWP is WordPress site management realized.

Logins & Updates

Forget about multiple logins and passwords, and if all your sites are cruising with the same WordPress version, you can upgrade all your sites at once! Not just WordPress core, either, I’m talking about themes and plugins, too!

Better yet, you can setup groups.

Example: I use TentBlogger’s SEO Categories Plugin on almost all my installs. What about the two sites that don’t use it? I can create a “group” for that specific plugin, so that I can update all the sites that are running the plugin at once!

This goes for WordPress core, plugins and themes.

Backups & Clones

This is candy.

Backup and restore any and all your sites from the ManageWP dashboard at any time. Plus, you can schedule automatic backups?

Isn’t this dreamy?

As for the cloning, you can setup a new, fully loaded WordPress site in minutes, or use the clone tool to clone any of your existing sites from one domain, subdomain or folder.

This could seriously streamline web development and any upgrades and tweaks you might want to do.

Buy in Bulk

Buying in bulk saves you money, and managing WordPress sites with ManageWP will save you time. One screen is a portal to all your sites. Post articles, add links, users, anything you would normally do, all under one roof.

Get the Beta

Even if you’re on the fence about ManageWP, sign up!

ManageWP is currently in beta and looks to officially launch next month (Nov 2011). If you sign up before launch, ManageWP will cost you nothing – FREE – for up to three websites.

Once ManageWP is released past beta, the proposed pricing will be as follows:

  • $5 per month for 10 websites.
  • $50 per month for 500 websites.
  • And pricing options between — like 25, 50, 100 and 250 sites.

Even if you are running one install of WordPress, ManageWP comes with a sweet set of tools, and if you sign up, now, it’s free.

You can’t beat that.

That looks pretty sweet! Will have to give it ago! (as I spent all last Friday afternoon upgraded WP sites – this could be areal time saver)
