They partnered with many of these church to plant churches, do ministry and send their people to volunteer. This isn't a shot in the dark. These churches are there because there is a long term relationship. And many of them aren't exactly next door. Moody is about a mile away (but in the city that is pretty far). I know a couple more are 3 to 5 miles away. That does not minimize anything about Park doing this, but it does make it easier to put these churches on the list because they aren't necessarily seen as direct competition.
