Logos Bible Software recently rebranded as Faithlife and now has acquired Beacon Ads.
This is a smart move by—now Faithlife—as they ride the technology wave in this fast moving, ever-changing technology world.
CEO Bob Pritchett explains,
“‘Software’ is something you download onto your desktop computer. And while I still do that—and so do you!—we’re moving toward a future where apps, websites, and digital content set the pace.”
If you are a Logos user, you can count on continued awesome from their “over 43,000 digital books between Logos and their ebook store Vyrso, the print Bible Study Magazine with a circulation of 100,000, and the cloud-based church presentation software called Proclaim.”
But Wait, There’s More!
Faithlife has now acquired Beacon Ads! This the number one online Christian advertising marketplace. That’s what we use on ChurchMag!
“We see Beacon Ads as a fantastic opportunity to help those who need to broaden their reach through advertising on the best Christian websites, but in an easy and pain-free way,” said Faithlife Vice President, Dan Pritchett. Beacon Ads is the only self-serve advertising marketplace for Christian audiences.
And we are super, super excited to see Beacon Ads acquired. It’s not that BuySellAds.com was doing a bad job or anything, but it’s great to see it acquired by an organization passionate about the same things we are—the Church and technology!

I used to subscribe to Church mag, but now every time before I even open an email from you, while I’m hovering at the email just in my inbox as well as when I open the email a window pops up stops everything for 30 seconds and say “rss:beaconads.”
I use outlook 360 and wish I could make this time suck stop. So if you have any suggestions, I would like to get the emails but with out this issue.

Thank you for the feedback, Charles! We will be changing our email delivery in the coming weeks from Feedburner to Mailchimp, so hopefully that will correct that time suck. If it doesn’t, let me know!
Thank you for be awesome, Charles. 🙂
