Pornography.
The struggle is real.
We can talk about statistics, psychology, and the spiritual woes that pornography weighs upon us. We can talk about the secular and religious reasons to avoid it, abstain from it, and kick it in the teeth. But we’ve already done that quite a bit already.
But this past year on the ChurchMag Podcast we finally decided to dig in a little and figure out what we can actually do as the Church tech and creative community to push back the high-tide of pornography use.
NoPornFor.Me
About a year and half ago I had a seed of a vision of what could be done with the pornography problem; and by “seed,” I mean “domain name.” 😛
Shortly after renewing the domain name last year – and still not having done anything with it – Jeremy and Phil convinced me that we should do an episode on pornography, so on the 68th podcast we released, How Can We Help Fight Pornography?. It was during this episode that seed began to sprout.
Since then, we have had a few people show interest in helping out – and while I’d like to take the time to carefully craft and build something – the truth is: We need a team.
We don’t even have a logo!
We need a team of:
- People who want to help fight pornography use in the Church.
- Web developers, graphic artists, and marketing minds.
- Writers, bloggers, and meme makers.
