If you have been fairly active on any of the top three social networks, Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, for any period of time, you have seen the tweet, status update, or post that is going for way too many hashtags. Social media is not a place to change how we communicate with people. Your posts should read like a conversation you would have with someone in person.

Jimmy Fallon invited Justin Timberlake onto his Late Night show and made a skit to mock these overdone hashtags. Enjoy!

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is a Christian first, husband and father next, and then a blogger, writer, and social media realist.
