Jesus Plays Tomb Raider and Other Strange Twitter Nonsense

jesusplaystombraiderWhat in the world is MyTinyJesus.com?!?

Anyone?

Apparently it’s a very simple (and quite random) Flash-based Twitter feed that has Jesus spouting off random tweets that, as far as I can tell, does not follow any pattern or meme.

Strange.

It was fun, though, waiting for an interesting tweet to pass through the plastic figurine so I could make a witty title to this blog post.

Didn’t take too long either.

Anyways, that’s your monday web tech weirdness…

Rock on.

An interesting take on the whole "WWJT?" I guess they're trying to get people to see what it would be like if their tweet came out of the mouth of Jesus. I wonder if it's effective at all?

Let's create a flavor of it with a tiny John Saddington. Let me know when you've got it built

OK. Maybe some creativity that could have been used better elsewhere, maybe.

The Funny thing is that I operate a twitter account called GiantJesus. I was trying to play off the tinybuddha twitter name. I noticed if you click on the link on the bottom left hand corner it takes you to your e-mail and it is titled "confess."

Wow…interesting approach. I can just see me showing this to a church as an idea-spin "It's called tiny-Jesus, the newest thing in online church marketing…"
