This really surprised me.
Apple has now sold as many apps as it has songs.
iTunes has been dealing music for almost 7-years, while apps have been in the market for only half that time!

This equates to rates of 31 million app downloads per month and 12 million song downloads per month.
Whoa.
Meanwhile, iBooks barely make a blip.
There’s obviously a lot of money in apps. Hats-off to places like YouVersion who offer a solid Bible app free of charge.

I think the lack of iBook sales is pretty interesting. I’m not sure what it means…but Apple doesn’t get everything right!
