ZURB, creators of the popular front-end web development framework, Foundation, have released a cool new tool that will help you rock-out some awesome responsive HTML emails!
With over 40% of emails being viewed with mobile devices, having your email newsletter responsive is really important. Email newsletters are already on the fringe of being sent to the trash without a good look, so if you don’t deliver your email so your recipient can read it on their device, consider yourself sunk.
As ChurchMag looks forward to 2014 for a new responsive design, you can guarantee our newsletter will be getting the same kind of responsive love. We may even use Ink! Check it out:
Responsive Email Templates with Ink
Ink is free to use and they’ve included links to hep you through the process of setting it up. The documentation is solid, but nothing here is really a surprise. Zurb’s Foundation is one of the top frameworks used, so the release of Ink has got me amped. I can’t want to give it a try!
You can learn more, download it, and start making your own awesome responsive emails by visiting Ink.

This looks very promising!

I think so. Zurb rocks, so it’s gotta be good. 😛

Just tried this out, and it’s very nice, but as usual Gmail still strips out all the CSS, so it looks like garbage there. Mailchimp has a nice tool which makes all turns all your styles to inline CSS, and then it looks great in Gmail and other places. http://beaker.mailchimp.com/inline-css
Copy your code, and don’t select strip out to keep the responsive code still in tact.

Great tip, Mark, thank you!!!
