Conclusion
If you haven’t ever drafted your blog posts off-line, you should. WordPress and other online blogging platforms put you a hiccup away from losing your draft.
By using a minimal writing app like iA Writer, you can also focus more on your writing. You can format text, drop in links and images, later. Let those words pour out onto the page, capture your brilliance, and you’ll be a better blogger for it.

I would love to see a comparison between this and OmmWritter.

Not a comparison (great idea btw) but …. https://churchm.ag/ommwriter/

Seems like overkill. I use Evernote (not the best writing environment, but it’s a great place to assemble & research content). I think with Markdown or Textile; anyone know of a good real time MD editor?
