Do you favorite tweets on Twitter?
For the longest time I didn’t, but then I realized it was a great way to show others that you’re listening and paying attention, without having to retweet everything. Someone mentions you, hit the favorite star. Someone says something funny, hit the favorite star. It’s been a nice bridge between the gap of enjoying a tweet without any kind of recognition, retweeting, or replying.
But what if the favorite star did a little more than that?
Check out Hubbble.
That’s with three b’s, so not this:

No, I am talking about this Hubbble:
Hubbble
This is really, really easy.
Simply sign-up. Be sure you’re already logged into your Twitter account, since Hubbble will need some access privilege to your account.
Hubbble is super-duper simple:
Just after you sign up, Hubbble will probably ask for an email address and when you would like to receive the weekly emails:
Now every Friday, I’ll receive a breakdown of all the tweets I’ve favorited. This is an excellent way to quickly and easily curate your Twitter feed for various reasons. To read later, to share on another social media account, or maybe even stuff to blog about. I could see this being a handy tool to help make Twitter a better content curation tool—no matter the medium or purpose.
Twitter can be overwhelming with the constant stream of data and Hubbble is a quick and easy way to help increase its value.

I totally agree! I only recently started favoriting tweets too. My thinking was that anyone visiting my profile might see an opportunity to make some new connections. That’s certainly been my experience. If people are new to me, I visit their twitter page, and also check out tweets they’ve favorited. I’ve discovered and made more than a few new connections doing that.
As for twitter tools, I’ve been playing around with SocialOomph. Gonna also fiddle a bit with Buffer when I get a minute.

SocialOomph? Cool. I’ll have to check that out!
