You have to check this example video out using the Ambilight Video Tag for HTML5.
I saw it and I cried because it was so awesome.
Here’s a link to the video if you can view it in an HTML5 compatible browser. Or, I’ve captured the experience in a video after the jump…
Whoa.
Whoa.
Whoa.

Can’t wait to IE adapts.. 10 years from now
LOL! noice.

HTML5 is my hero.
mine too.

HTML 5…. I am a fanboy.
yup. me too.
I’m sure Philips never would have thought their Ambilight technology would have been used on the web.

I like it. I find it a little distracting though.

She’s a beut!
Yeah, that’s pretty darn sweet.

A very nice browser… that I will continue to use until Chrome for Mac is more fledged… and has good 1Password support…

yes. indeed.
THAT is 10 kinds of sweetness!

My parents have an Ambilight TV, honestly I thought it was going to be way cooler then what it really is, but this is pretty cool.
haha. picture!
HTML5 is absolutely amazing! Being able to create the same sort of video as Flash without the buggy technology is great! And the ability to watch on an iPhone is really exciting.
I’m using YouTube’s HTML5 player at the moment and it’s working really well!
yes, been using it too.
