My process is much simpler:
1. Come up with title and general idea.
2. Come up with rough outline.
3. Write 500-1500 words a day until done (usually 1-2 months).
4. Make the cover.
5. Send book to editor.
6. Make changes the editor says to make.
7. Submit to Kindle store.
8. Let beta readers read kindle version.
9. Make changes as necessary.
10. Format print version.
11. Upload to Create Space.
12. Order proof.
13. Approve Proof.
14. Launch books.
15. Make small amounts of money.
Bonus: Write long comment about how short your process is.
