Within all of the social media platforms online, none of the platforms compare to what Google+ has done for me. It was there that I met with Eric Dye over video chat and first chatted with Phil Schneider. It is there that I have created my strongest digital relationships.
If you tell me that no one is active on their, I will tell you you are doing it wrong. It is my biggest source of engagement. I may get more traffic from Pinterest and Twitter, but more people +1 and comment on my posts which KILLS it with Google search results. And the quality of my conversations on Google+ is LEAGUES above any other network where everyone else is shouting.
Imagine, quality conversations with people for your ministry or blog that can improve the content you create and promote better engagement. Sounds good to me!
Here are my favorite three stats:
- With 300 million active users, many believe that Google+ will surpass Facebook by May 2016 assuming no catastrophic collape by Facebook.
- Want to increase engagement on your own profile? You need to start the process by engaging on other people’s content first. Leave comments, +1s, and be thorough with thoughts that are in your expertise.
- Good formatting of your posts can inherently improve your posts. Use hashtags and images to draw more attention to your posts, give concise but brief descriptions of links you are sharing, and use the formatting options within Google+.
Are you on Google+? What has your experience been like?

Wow, what a great infographic on Google+. I have been around Google+ a while, but have never set it up for some of the blogs I work on. Sounds like a great way to boost traffic, meet others and create a positive buzz about the content on the blog. Thanks for sharing.
