Is it just me, or do videos that are shot vertically annoying?
Well, there’s an app for that. Horizon will always make sure your videos are being recorded horizontally. This not only will keep you from being THAT GUY, but gives some unique creative possibilities.
Just watch and see how you can end vertical iPhone videos:
Horizon – No More Vertical Videos
While the Horizontal app does offer some other features — like filters and multiple resolutions — it really is the forever horizontal perspective that makes this app worth the 99 cents.
Here’s Horizontal in action:

Do you dislike vertical videos as much as I do?
Paul Alan Clifford (@PaulAlanClif) says
BRILLIANT! Yes, I hate vertical videos. I’m getting it for another reason, too. Did you notice that as you turn it, it zooms, smoothly, while recording. Vertical = zoom in. Horizontal = wide.
I was hoping it would allow me to switch between front and back cameras while recording, but apparently not.
Also, since it zooms, the highest resolution on my 4s is 640×480, so don’t expect to get the same resolution as the default cam on the 4 and 4s.
Otherwise, good find.

It certainly is! Thank you, Paul!

Yes i dislike VV as much as you do, too bad my **family members identity redacted** will never pay $0.99 because they do not care if the video is vertical.
Also where is the subscribe to comments checkbox?
Eric Dye says
Sad story. The comments plugin took a nose dive, so I had to disable it. :-/ Redesigned version will use Jetpack comments — coming soon!
