[...] That’s what I wrote about two years ago in my chapter Navigating the Evolving World of Youth Ministry in the Facebook-MySpace Generation. As you can see, I think the combination of the online world and Generation Y/F has huge implications for ministry. On Tuesday I posted Values of Generation Y/Millenials That Will Help Transform Work and Church, and it got some good reaction online via blogs, Twitter, as well in some personal conversation that I had. And then yesterday, ChurchCrunch commented on the post and topic with Hiring, Managing, and Keeping Staff from the Facebook Generation. [...]

This article really peaked my interested a while back. Such an interesting topic I think. The great thing about this is that it plays out in so many different ways depending on the context.

I find this to be such an interesting topic....I think they are revolutionizing the way leadership is done. And I agree with Paul in that many things seem to align with what seems to be more biblical forms of leadership and management. But, I do find non-denominational churches to be just as steeped in the practices of Fortune 500 companies as the mainlines. Sometimes the non-denominational are more exclusive to in who they let lead, which I think is unfortunate.

The cool thing about that list is that almost everything on it is a biblical principle. Many churches that have been operating according to biblical principles rather than an authoritarian structure (primarily non-denominational churches) already have these ideas as a part of their culture..
