"What do I need to run Glo?

    * Microsoft Windows® XP, Vista®, or Windows 7 OS with lastest service pack installed. (required)"

Not for Macs yet = :(

interesting…they've followed me on twitter…wasn't sure what it was

Wow indeed! My first question was – how much, retails for $80, but looks like the street price will be sub $65 the have to admit that the mobile and web based looks cool too! But Wow!!!

    not for mac.
    foolish.

I got an advanced copy of the Glo from a leadership summit run by Willow Creek, but I can't run it on my Macbook :( . PC users have said it's great, though.

At first I thought this was a Stand Alone Reader like Kindle. I kinda got excited…but then I figured out by all the kids on their PC's that it's software.
A Stand Alone Reader with something as dazzling looking as this
    + Storage for Music
    + Online Connectivity to YouVersion
    + $100 price point
    + MAC friendly
    = EPIC

hmmm…maybe I should get on that.
    Gotta go!

Actually it doesn't run on Mac..I played around with a demo of this a while back…

There actually is no mac version (John, you may want to update that) – it's windows only….for now…

Seriously wow: 18 GBs!! (I hear Doc's voice from Back to the Future)

I wonder if they would consider a web-based version so I don't have to eat up such a chunk of my hard drive, or perhaps it can run off a high capacity optical disk (DVD)?

    And…does it include the apocrypha?

It does sound neat and flashy, and useful too. I would love to check it out, but alas I'm a mac user.

So what's up with the two dudes using macbooks in the video? Deceiving.

I was so excited to get my sample of this at Catalyst only to find out that it's only for Windows … very very sad :(

  12. October 26, 2009 at #

I was excited to try this out after receiving a copy at Catalyst. The requirements are pretty steep, not to mention the disk space (18+ GB), but was excited nonetheless. The ATI/nVidia graphics card requirement quenched my excitement, however, as my system just has the onboard Intel set that came standard on my Dell. =-( This would be an excellent bible study program for our Church office, if a Mac version were to be released.

Looking forward to the MAC version as well…it's a perfect fit. I’ve seen it on a PC and it looks awesome!

Really disappointed that it is not for mac. What a waste! They should have thought of that.

I purchased a copy of the Willow Creek Association of Glo off e-Bay. It does not have the serial number with the cd’s. How do I obtain the serial number?
