My wife does an amazing job corralling our 4 kids. Two of those are our 3 yr old twins...that's says enough right there. But also add in that our 7 yr old has type 1 diabetes and my wife does an amazing job of managing that all day long... let's just say, my wife has her hands full. so anything that can make her life easier (such as an iPhone!) is always a good thing! much like many of the other commenters, it would be for my wife.
