I would use them to pimp my online business card.

You know, the one I've been to lazy to put together since you built the theme for it. ;)

  3. October 6, 2009 at #

I would love the business cards. I would use them to have an easy way to give out my contact info, and info about my church.

  4. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them when my book comes out to market it and me to get it into more hands of people who need to know that life with Christ isn't as hard as some would like to make it.

business cards are great… unfortunately the only ones I've ever had are super cheesy and usually misprinted in some way. I'd love to use some GREAT ones :)

would love the business cards..I need to reorder as I type this but been holding out for some reason…this must be the reason :) I'd totally use these to handout to people about my business but then I'd have to share about this awesome blog that gave them to me for free!

  9. October 6, 2009 at #

I was just thinking about getting new cards! Thanks for the offer. I serve in a church in a town of 35,000 people where there are 120 churches of all kinds! People in town just think of churches as a part of the town; they don't think of churches as places they can commit to and change the community with the love of Christ! Churches get lost in the mix. And most people say "where"s that?" when I tell them which church I'm with.

How would I use them? Go bold so it stands out, but make it about Jesus instead of me or the church. Slap a map on there, a couple url links to helpful resources for the community and their life, and be somewhat vague enough to where their curiosity gets the best of them and they have to go check out more. The goal is for someone to hold in their hand a little card that could direct them to finding some real help and hope in their life. Who would have thought a little card could do that? I'm sure uprinting.com can make it happen!

Business cards are always good and free makes it even better. I am in the process of launching a new church in 2010 and I would use them to hand out to people to spread the word about who we are and directing them to our site…

We are taking over a failing business and have to revive the image of the company. We are creating a new look and new name ("BIG GREEN Car Clean")….which means new marketing materials needed. This would be a huge blessing to help us get it started.

College student. Applying to grad schools, internships, jobs, fellowships (and anything else you can think of). Resumes are great to carry, but they are really inconvenient at networking events.

I can't tell you some great story about how I'm doing God's work in the world. All I've got is how God's doing work in my life, carrying me towards a dream he's given me to help the sick in the world. A calling card is invaluable at this stage in my life.

  14. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them to help promote my site at shows and other events.

  15. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them to give my contact info to Church planters and Pastors so I could teach them about Social Media

I'm starting a small web design business for people who create and sell handmade crafts. I meet my clients at craft fairs and farmers markets, and it would be nice to have an eye-catching business card to give them.

I wrote my first inspirational children's book entitled, He Called, I Answered. I would like to be able to present my clients with a business card to further my books' Gospel message.

  27. October 6, 2009 at #

I would design invites to church and give them to our student ministry to give out.

  28. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them for our 20:Somethings minstry to young adults. We've grown from around 10 people to nearly 30 every week. This would be a great way to pick up the pace and add another level of outreach to our group.

  29. October 6, 2009 at #

I'm starting in a new ministry position in Wichita, KS next month and would love some sharp new cards to help me as I get established on the gound.

I have no business cards, and I'm poor. If that doesn't qualify for a freebie, I don't know what does. :)

  32. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them to generate web traffic and hopefully get some writing work 'cause I need a few more $ each month. Also, I don't want to feel like an outsider at my next conference… speaking of… iPhone giveaway??

I would make 250 of the prettiest paper airplanes to fly out to various people. I would also make a great castle made of cards to show how imaginative I could be. Finally I could shred those cards in to small pieces and have confetti to throw on my wife and tell her congrats on staying married to me for another day, SHE MADE IT!

Ok totally kidding. I would use them to promote my “chicken and waffles” resturant. OK kidding again. I would use them to promote my church where I am on staff leading worshiping. Ok kidding aga…… No really that is what I would do! LOL

  34. October 6, 2009 at #

ooh! ooh!…..My wife could really use these right now. (Cue sad, but true sob story) Since she was laid off from her job during her maternity leave, she's been finding ways to make up for the income on her own. She's discovered that she is a super-talented photographer and her first few "clients" have been extremely satisfied with her work. Word of mouth only spreads so far without something to hold on to or reference. The end.

  35. October 6, 2009 at #

I would love to have them to use as a way to get business as a freelance video/graphic designer.

  36. October 6, 2009 at #

I have no cards right now so I would love some. I think I need a personal brand card at this point

  37. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them for my graphic design business

  38. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them to bring back the personal calling card. No fancy logo, no wild designs…simple clean: Name, Address, Phone, Website, Email

Maybe it would start a revolution.

  39. October 6, 2009 at #

I would post an encouraging note on a website, put the url on the card, and give away one card per day to a stranger who looks like they need encouragement.

  40. October 6, 2009 at #

I would use them to promote my love for photography and web design

  41. October 6, 2009 at #

I just did a workshop at a conference (one hour ago) and had people ask me for a card…but alas…I don't have one! I would use them to promote our free consultation we offer through our local church to people and churches who are trying to effectively reach out to unchurched people in their city…and give shameless plugs to churchcrunch and uprinting for hooking me up! :)

I would love the business cards. I sing and play in a band called The Great Rescue. We lead worship in various church environments and also play at local coffeehouses and similar smaller venues. Having a card would be a great way for me to connect with other area youth pastors and worship leaders.

We were just talking about this today.
We would use them to Raise Awareness of and Push People to our BE Campaign.
The BE Campaign is how we are telling the Story of Soul City Church as well as Raise the First Two Years of Funds.
Launching multiple churches in Downtown Chicago ain't cheap! So we are doing whatever we can to get people involved.
We would use the cards to lead people directly to the BE Campaign site where they can get involved in helping launch a movement of churches in Chicago.
It would be a huge part of our story.

I need to business cards to leave on the bed-side-tables of people I visit in the hospital. I do not have much of a mercy gift so instead of waking them or waiting for them to wake up I leave my card….very quietly.

Well, we just changed our office location, as well as our phone number, so, I would use them to update my info! Now, I just have to figure out what to do with the 200 old cards…

Any business would have their "business" cards printed free from their companies! College students, like myself, do not have any backings, making it hard to network with business people during conferences. Don't neglect us!

I would use them so I could have my cell phone number on them, and take my middle initial off (our admin made them for me). How can I hand my card to ANYBODY, without my cell #?

  55. October 7, 2009 at #

awesome, 4 of us are beginning a movie production company (a loose association) so I would be using it for that :-)

Might be too late, I just got this post through my feed. I'm obeying God to go public with my writing and public speaking ministry and this is one of the goals I have before the end of the year. This would be an answer to prayer!

I am in need of some new, basic contact cards. The last set I got were "business cards" that were sometimes out of context with where/why I was sharing my information with someone. I've been meaning to design and get some new cards that just feature my name and contact info, and a place to scribble some context if necessary.

Thanks for doing the giveaways, and thanks for continually writing great stuff! Very inspiring to keep moving forward, and keep thinking about the "real" ministry behind what I'm doing every day.

  61. October 7, 2009 at #

Hey John, we met last april at the Orange conference in the bloggers lounge. I was looking for a new ministry spot and finally found it this last week. I start in Nov. I would use the cards for my new ministry to kid's and their families.

  62. October 8, 2009 at #

I'd use them for networking. And when someone asked me where I got these cool cards, I'd give a shout-out to Uprinting and ChurchCrunch of course.
