    (New Jack Swing: 108 BPM)

Craig Groeschel: He talks like Dauber from Coach.

Give him a mic, he’d stomp Andy like a roach!

(Can’t afford to go, but just wanted to comment.)

I think Craig would win at a freestyle rap battle, because when it comes to rap, he has “IT.” But if it came down to who can “wrap” up a message, Andy would win because he’s not a “Christian Atheist” but he is definitely great at “Communicating for a Change.” Besides, his direction would probably determination his destination in the battle, as long as he didn’t “choose to cheat.” It’s the “principle” of the thing.

Either way, the “momentum” that would be created by the “new” and “improving” freestyle rap battle would certainly answer “The Best Question Ever” and bring a new understanding of “Chazown” in my own life.

Totally Andy. I’ve seen that video.

Andy is from Hotlanta, but after seeing the sports video spoof, I think Craig is a word smith who would lay down some tight rhymes.

Andy Stanley hands down :) Sorry Craig.

It’s hard to say who’d win
I don’t know where to begin.
    2 white boys rappin’ free
might be a sight to see.

Andy’d be quicker to get goin’
In ’95 his church was flowin’.
    Compared to Craig in ’96
But Craig might have more rappin’ tricks.

If having kids makes you rap more free
Craig has 6 to Andy’s three.
But Andy’s degree from Georgia State
    Might make him really great.

    A communicator like Andy
Might have some rhymes more handy.
And with a last name such as Stanley
His rap might come out more manly.

    But a pastor from “Ed-town”
Might rap with a great sound.
And with a last name like Groeschel
You know his rap won’t smell.

    Craig’s Confessions of a Pastor
Might help him to rap faster.
    But Andy’s Communication for Change
Might help him rap in better range.

Craig’s words could be more juiCY
    If they’re from mysecret.TV.
Andy wouldn’t say quite so much.
His dad would help him stay InTouch.

So who will the winner be?
Is it Craig? Or is it AnDY?
    To me it doesn’t matter
If it’s the former or the latter.

I only did this cheesey rhyme
To make you take the time.
To decide that I’m the chick
    To win the freebie tic.

And send the second one to my man
To assure that we both can
Hear from Andy and from Craig
Cuz we ain’t too proud to beg.

She wins. If my comment is chosen at random, give my ticket to her.

I’m going to say Craig would win, since I think he would win in almost anything with the word “Battle” involved…

And if my comment is chosen at random, I’d like my ticket given to her as well, seeing as I can’t go…

Hey John, I hope its ok to break rank here and ask an off-topic question. We’re in the heat of establishing our web domain and the .org, .com, and .tv have been taken for the site we want.

Is it more strategic to go with .cc? Maybe .us? The churches that own the .org, .com, and .tv are in England and Australia, so we feel our name is still unique.

Or should we go outside the box and pick a domain name that doesn’t have our church name in it? For example Mark Batterson went with theatrechurch instead of nationalcommunitychurch.

Thanks for your time and insight!

wow. that’s a question a bit outside of my pay grade…!

i tend to be drawn to names that mean something and are very creative. i think you can brand yourself a lot of different ways and still be “you.” a domain name doesn’t always have to reflect that directly.

go with a .cc and/or a .us. or, think outside the box.

the answer is “yes”… sure there are strategies involved (like trying to keep under 9 characters long) but be “you” in the truest sense!
