		<description>btw, I thought I would mention...FreePBX is free and open source.  However, you still have to provide hardware to run it on (it even runs on &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.plugpbx.org/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;plug computers&lt;/a&gt;).  You also have to pay for your VoIP trunks (essentially, your phone lines) and public phone numbers.  The cool thing is that you have your choice of providers though so you can get the service level you need.

		<description>Last week just found out our work phone system is Asterisk based.  Not sure if it&#039;s FreePBX for the front end, but it&#039;s been a good system as far as I know.
