I came across this new resource by way of PicJumbo. PicJumbo is an excellent resource for free, royalty free photos—and best of all—they’re top notch, high quality photos. You’re not going to find it to be an unlimited resource, but it deserves a bookmark in your browser for when you’re on the hunt for good photographs, especially if you need them royalty free. That being said, when I was contacted about Foodie’s Feed and knew it was of the same caliber of PicJumbo, I knew I had to check it out.
And I was not disappointed!
Foodie’s Feed
Foodie’s Feed is done by a cool guy by the name of Jakub (he emailed me personally). He lives in Prague, Czech Republic and is a committed foodie who also loves to take pictures with his Nikon D5200 with 35mm f/1.8G lens. Instead of leaving his photo sitting on his hard drive unnoticed, unseen, and forgetten, he decided to share them with the world.
I’m glad he did!
Here are some great uses for these foodie focused photos:
- Church bulletin
- Church website
- Church announcements
- Church promotionals
- Sermon overheads
- Blog posts
- Book covers
- And probably more, but this is all I thought of off the top of my head. 🙂
While you’re not going to need food photos all the time, when the time does come, you’ll have Foodie’s Feed bookmarked and ready to search. Besides, even if you’re not talking about food specifically, food photos can come in handy. Like the popsicle photo in the screenshot picture above, it could be used for all sorts of summer themed media.
Give Foodie’s Feed a visit, look around at the free high resolution food photos, and bookmark this yummy little resource that’s good enough to eat!
