Let’s fight the fire of deadline anxiety (or uncontrolled excitement) with a godly-sized portion of patience, grace, and understanding.
I think we simply need to trust God more with the outcomes of all that we do.

WORD! A great reminder to be ok not having control over everything.
I read in Wild at Heart that
As in how am I going to get that done on time- the rendering alone takes longer!?…. not our department. Or, how are we going to get everyone in the production department on the same page with this policy?… not our department.
Now- I’m NOT ducking responsibility here- God uses people to do the how. We need to be diligent and worthy stewards of the resources available to us; but the insurmountable will be less so when we realize Abba has it and just asks us to be ready and available for HIS plans.

that is tough even for a Christian.
I find myself fighting to achieve the outcome because I want a certain result that I will be souly responsible for.
I worry that God might want a different outcome.

Yes Yes Yes. Even though we are busy with things that have to be done yesterday. We need to keep in mind that the rest of the world is too. If we all just had a little more patience and understanding with each other… what a beautiful place we’d be in!
