Evernote rocks! Can I get an “Amen!”?
For the last several years, since making its way to the top of the productivity food chain, Evernote continues to develop great features without losing its original purpose.
With so many new features available on various platforms (my Pebble watch even has an app), it’s easy to forget some really strong ones Evernote has added along the way.
Here are just two of the features I’ve been using more often. See if you can fit them into your workflow and discover the hidden value!
Work Chat
I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of sharing notebooks inside Work Chat, but as far as the “instant messaging” feature goes, it’s fantastic! The other day I was sending a message to someone via Work Chat and realized how blazing fast it makes communicating in the moment. It’s great for light collaboration and chatting while working. Work Chat is not a sole reason to begin using Evernote, but it’s certainly a nice commodity I previously overlooked.
Public Link
Many people forget that you can share an Evernote note with virtually anyone whether they have an Evernote account or not. If you click the top right (on the Mac version at least) arrow, you’ll get the option to “Copy Public Link.” Now, I certainly wouldn’t recommend sharing anything extremely confidential or private, but it’s great for quick memos and even sharing a note with pictures attached.
Your turn now.
