Download an Entire Website with Site Sucker [Mac]

I was working on a client’s site last weekend and needed to do a backup of all their old content [images, media, rich text] but was unable to find an export feature on their CMS.

In fact, there was really no way of even getting in to the system via FTP either. So, I needed an app that could download and save the site locally for archiving and future excavation.

I found one that worked really well:

The SiteSucker app for Mac is free and did the job perfectly. It’s intuitive to use and is under 4 megs.

A few settings to configure (if you want) and you’re ready to go.

Love it! Can’t believe it’s free.
