The latest in “green” technology that has hit the automobile industry has had an unpredicted negative side effect: you cannot hear those vehicles anymore. If you are walking and texting at a crosswalk, only relying on your hearing for traffic, you are risking your life. You wouldn’t even be able to hear anything approaching from behind!
Domino’s has taken this challenge to capitalize on it with a “branding marketing idea.” Instead of having a scooter run silently, they have put speakers on it to announce that specific words both as a warning to pedestrians as well as suggestive marketing.
