I wish I were making some cookies…err rather EATING some cookies! I am working on a creative kinetic typology piece for our campus launch next weekend. I’m almost done…but just not ‘there’ yet. It’s missing that special something. My job this week is to find that special element and call it a wrap.
Going to as many easter egg hunts and pushing kids out of the way so I can get more candy. and going to church
We are doing an outreach presentation for 3 times during the week which is based on a idea of funeral service of Jesus with mixed media and a real coffin.
We are actually recycling the presentation from a previous yr with a few updates because it was so successful.
My comm’s team also created online invites for email (in woofoo) and a youtube video invite for people to share on facebook or youtube.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it in this space before but some creative types have also created planningeaster.com which is another great resource.
How about taking my ipad to church Easter Sunday and preaching from it..! Yelp…preaching from it! (and my physical Bible of course.)
Well, Dewde won’t be getting a job any time soon as a cake decorator with Dugg at Charm City Cakes (Ace of Cakes). But he is a programmer by trade so I applaud the effort.
As for me, my camera will be out Easter Sunday. Going to be grabbing images at our sunrise service over at Princess Place Preserve. Here’s an image of what that place looks like when the sun is coming up:

We have 4 other services that same weekend (1 Saturday and 3 on Sunday in addition to the sunrise service) and I’ll probably be covering all (save for the one I attend) of them at some point. Should be fun.
