Dallas Theological Seminary has announced that they’re using CoverItLive‘s live streaming service to cover the 2009 World Evangelism Conference.
You can view the live broadcast here.
I think it’s pretty neat that Seminary Institutions are starting to experiment with these technologies, and I’m proud (and thankful) to be associated with DTS.
I’m certain that more and more Seminaries will begin to use these web technologies this year and beyond. Do you know of any others that are “cutting their teeth” and that are on the “edge?”

That is a great thing they are doing for sure. I think that the more people realize how impacting these streaming services are the more they will use them. Coveritlive is one of the bests I think.
setting up a ning setup for a conference this summer, will be likened to that of #theideacamp, getting some very conservative folks to interact before a conference. i'm going to be at a conference in 2 weeks that has no website, i had to offer to host the .pdf files on our site.there's plenty we can do to be proactive w/our tech.

FYI: ~1,800 people showed up from >50 countries. Pretty nice for a mission conference!
And what were the virtual stats?
Actually, those were the virtual stats
At the Dallas campus, it was just the few hundred that can fit in the chapel.
