I love this idea via Nejc Polovsak who remade the artwork in ReWork. He says:
I think it’s a good habit to start making things as soon as you get the idea, take an hour and start working on it.
Usually when you just write it down in your to-do list it never gets done and usually the excitement is never so intense as the first time. So just start and create/design/do stuff already.
I completely agree.
Got an idea? Start it. See what happens. If the excitement dies after then kill the project, but at least you have something to show for it.

Hey John,
As you know I’ve “just started” a new online blog adventure helping wannabe graphic designer business owners do the same thing and “get started”
For me it’s been a big learning curve learning more about the coding side of the web.
It’s hard work, but fun knowing that someone somewhere will get something out of what I’ve learnt over the years.
