I love hearing stories where people are inspired or learn something here from these blogs and then actually go do something about it.
A while ago we posted how we thought Churches should offer Free WiFi like Starbucks and one church went ahead and did just that: Perch Church.

Way to go guys!

We’ve been offering free WiFi since 2005 at both of our campuses! It’s been used a lot by our coffee shop and I use it as staff all the time when I hold little staff meetings in the common spaces.
Free WiFi is the way to go in the office!
It covers about 85% of our buildings. I’m hoping that by year’s end I’ll have it covering 100% of both buildings!
Thanks for the pat on the back!
We have a lot of folks from the community on Saturdays dropping kids off for dance lessons in our building & hanging in our cafe for coffee etc – offering free wifi just seemed so sensible & I was wondering how could we be so dumb as to not already doing this!!!!
It launched last Saturday & I am sure will be enjoyed
So thanks for the inspiration
I volunteer @ Crossroads Community Church in Cincinnati and one of the exciting things is they designed their atrium so large and in such a way that they can keep it open during the week for people to come in and hang. You can enjoy a free cup or 12 of coffee while enjoying the free wifi. It truly is amazing. There is a cozy fireplace that pops in the winter months, and extra comfy couches to hold meetings and such. I go up there all the time just to get away from the norm.
